Genoa Santa

The journey of Genoa Santa commenced in 2020 at the Lowe’s store in Carson City. I found myself appointed as the store Santa, not by choice, but rather by obligation, simply because I was the sole gentleman in possession of a white beard within the premises. Within a mere half-minute of occupying the front of the store, a young girl made her entrance, catching sight of me and swiftly rushing over, wrapping her legs around mine in a warm embrace while proclaiming her adoration for Santa. Needless to say, I was astounded that my inaugural experience as Santa Claus would be such a wondrous one.

Several weeks later, as I strolled through the seasonal section of the store, a lady approached me and curiously inquired, “Is that beard of yours genuine?” After assuring her of its authenticity, she revealed herself as the executive director of the Polar Express train ride at the V and T railway in Carson City. Unexpectedly, I found myself recruited to partake in a Warner Brothers event as an actor. By the conclusion of the final performance, the cast kindly informed me of how I had salvaged their season.
